Sponsor a Cadet — Pass the Torch
Inside each book is a Veteran Sponsor Card with your branch, years of service, and one leadership lesson.
It’s more than a book. It’s your legacy in the hands of the next generation.
How It Works
1️⃣ Sponsor – Choose your level.
2️⃣ Share – Fill out a short form with your service.
3️⃣ Inspire – Your card is printed and placed in the books you sponsored.
Why It Matters
Cadets are tomorrow’s leaders. They deserve real lessons from those who lived it.
Your sponsorship makes sure they learn directly from veterans — not just textbooks.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take for cadets to get their books?
- Once your sponsorship is confirmed and your Veteran Sponsor Card is submitted, we print and prepare the books for delivery. Most JROTC units receive their books within 4–6 weeks.
Where do the books go?
- Sponsored books are delivered directly to JROTC programs, ROTC units, school libraries, and reserve stations. Each cadet receives a book with your sponsor card inside.
Can non-veterans sponsor books too?
- Absolutely. While veterans can include their service history, non-veterans can sponsor in honor of a family member or friend who served. Every sponsor still fills out a card so cadets know who made their book possible.
Is my sponsorship tax deductible?
- At this time, sponsorships are considered support for the program, not a charitable donation, so they are not tax deductible. We’re transparent about this so there are no surprises.
